• Venue management data: venue information, courts, availability, policies, and operational settings provided by venue admins.
• Usage data: device type, app interactions, pages viewed, and basic analytics used to improve performance and the user experience.

• To provide core services: account management, venue discovery, availability, and bookings.
• To process payments and manage wallet balances, refunds, and promotions.
• To enforce venue policies (e.g., cancellation fees and free reservation slots where applicable).

Depending on your location, we process personal data on the basis of: performance of a contract (providing booking services you request), legitimate interests (improving and securing the platform), and consent (where required for specific features or communications).

• Venues: We share necessary booking details with the venue you book (e.g., court, time, player contact) to facilitate your reservation.
• Payment processors: Stripe receives payment-related information to process card payments. Stripe’s terms and privacy policy apply.
• Infrastructure providers: Supabase hosts our database, authentication, storage, and real-time services used by the platform.
• External APIs: Google Maps and similar services may be used for geolocation and mapping features.
• Compliance: We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations or protect rights and safety.

5. Data Storage and Security

We use industry-standard security practices and role-based access controls. Supabase authentication and database policies help ensure only authorized access to data. Despite safeguards, no system is 100% secure; use strong passwords and keep your account information confidential.

We retain data for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Venue admin data related to operations may be retained to maintain booking records and audit trails.

Courtland does not knowingly collect personal data from children without appropriate consent and supervision, as required by law. Venues are responsible for any age-based policies relating to their facilities.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services evolve or to meet regulatory requirements. Material changes will be communicated in-app or via email where appropriate.
